Lone - Galaxy Garden (2012) The fifth album by Lone, real name Matt Cutler, and his first since his signing onto R & S. Galaxy Garden borrows a few elements from early 90’s rave and drum & bass and combines it with Lone’s unique and melodic sound. There’s also a certain sort of liquidity to album, both literally and metaphorically. Meaning: it both flows really well from one track to the next and that there are actual water sounds sampled. Klaus - Tusk (2011) A definite sleeper hit that arrived last year on the legendary Belgian label R & S. Of the very few times I have heard people talk about this EP there have been several comparisons to James Blake and Burial, but not in the copycat-ish way you’d expect it’s more of a “bastard child” sort of comparison. Klaus - Tusk (2011)

A definite sleeper hit that arrived last year on the legendary Belgian label R & S. Of the very few times I have heard people talk about this EP there have been several comparisons to James Blake and Burial, but not in the copycat-ish way you’d expect it’s more of a “bastard child” sort of comparison. Highly recommended, especially if you’re into post dubstep / future garage.
